    I agree with this statement.

If Spence moves up to 154 I think he would beat Lara. Canelo fought Lara a long time ago. Canelo is much better now and Lara is only older. Canelo would beat Lara much easier today. Spence has a different style than Canelo although they are both great body punchers. Spence has better stamina than Canelo and a higher work rate. I think Spence would attack Lara and put lots of pressure on him. I think his body attack would wear Lara down and he would stop Lara in the late rounds. Lara is overrated. He went life or death with Angulo and had a draw with Molina. He ran from Canelo. Canelo damn near chased him out of the ring. Spence kicks Lara's ass. Spence is a younger, better and bolder fighter.

Lara is very good vs southpaws. I think this would be too much for Errol. Then again, this could end up just like the Canelo fight.

Lara tastes Spence's power and then goes too defensive and gets walked down constantly and hit to the body.

So Spence beats Lara and hits harder than Canelo now?

          Unbelievable

The Brook fight was pretty close until Brooks eyes failed again. You're all acting like he dominated Brook

The 154 division is another beast altogether. Doing well in a much weaker welterweight division won't say much

Spence said he wants to unify all titles, and he should. WW is a much better division than 154.

            But yeah, he beats Lara.

Spence knows how to cut off the ring, so I don't see Lara lasting the distance.

Prime, healthy Lara goes 12 hard to score, close rounds with the very best from 154 to 160, anyone less than the best would get beaten. The best at 147 may win 4-5 rounds against him if they bring it.

It remains to be seen if he's prime because he is in his mid 30s afterall and he hasn't fought anyone I can use to gauge if he's still a top guy at the top level. His fight vs Canelo was 3 years ago and he looked prime there but he was 31 and in boxing +3 years in your 30s is creeping closer and closer to that no man's land where fighters reflexes and footspeed drop. He also looked prime against Vanes last year but he has to fight someone like Charlo or Andrade this year and show if he still he got it.

Canelo is by far the better offensive and better punching. Errol would not make it 12 with canelo is what you ment.
Lara is a runner is the only reason he made it 12! I think Lara out boxes Errol.
Errol already said he would move to 154 just for canelo. Now please tell me if you honestly think canelo & his team would take that fight? That will answer your doubt....& Nelo already beat Lara, Lara has no power (unlike brook) so Errol won't hesitate to cut him off & go to work.

Certainly not 160. I might favor Lara over Spence at 154 though.
