Was anybody surprised by how strong Kell Brook was?

He was clearly the stronger fighter. He was pushing Spence, leaning on him and holding/clinching in the early rounds and Spence couldn't do much to stop it because Kell was overpowering him. He was winning the early rounds because of his strength advantage. I knew he was strong but I didn't think he was that physically strong to where he could impose his will on Spence.

I saw the same thing and wasn't too surprised (surprised yes! Just not blown away) you can tell kell is a strong fighter from his last two showings, his weight is always on point and physically he has a large imposing frame.

Not shocked at all, Brook is a big skilful welterweight. Shame he never proved it in the ring against the other names in his 13 years, he knows how to drag you around but for a prospect Spence handled it very well. He push Brook off him and destroyed his body. It was amazing to watch, I was in awe with the way he was throwing to Kell body after pushing him off him.

The stronger fighter would not have gassed out.

Him trying to impose his will on Spence is what got his ass stomped.

I thought Brook looked good but he didn't seem to capitalize on the moments where Spence was hurt or seemed lost in the fight.
To me Spence was the harder hitter especially with that left hook to the body. The right must of been hard too to break Brooks other cheek.

            He's a strong welter.

He was physically stronger and the better fighter for 6 rounds. He slowed down though, Spence didn't.

Taking hard body shots from a big puncher for six rounds finished him for the second half.
