Of course, Golovkin won that fight, you'd have to be blind and completely bias driven to say Jacobs done enough to beat GGG.
There is more to fighting on the backfoot than throwing shots that aren't landing, you need to land those shots you can't just be as passive as Jacobs was, he was on the backfoot the entire fight and Golovkin was still landing better heavier shots on him, I mean even after the Brook fight GGG was marked up, but going 12 rounds Golovkin barely had any facial damage this is a sign of someone who was defending themselves correctly.
