Even Spence knows that the eye socket and the weight loss bailed him out. Brook was dominating the first 8 rounds of the fight. Everyone had him up by 3 even showtime's scorers had him up while UK's had him up by 4. Thats when Brook started slowing down due to weight and then his eye started ****ing up again. It really shows how bad GGG ****ed Brook up in the fight. A healthy Brook would have won this fight.

Spence was up on all the judges scorecards and the UK had him up 1 as well.

Canelo wins if he can take or evade lil g's punches (should). Jacobs did win I agree, Brook was not winning the first 7 rounds period. They both had to make weight & came in almost exactly the same on the weigh-in & that eye didn't get injured by itself. Brook had all the advantages going in....the reason people are giving a shot for Errol to beat Thurman is cuz Errol throws all punches (I think he doesn't throw enough uppercuts) especially the body work he does that Thurman has been hurt at multiple times...I think Errol beats Thurman but Thurman has the skill to box 12 rounds & stay away from Errol's punches....then we would have people say "he ran" but regardless it would be another great fight. Thank you once again Alan Haymon, much respect to you sir!

I don't think Canelo does beat GGG. I don't think he's got the stamina to keep him away all night. The dude was slowing down versus the Chavez heavy bag. How's he gonna keep GGG away for 12 rounds? Jacobs could do it as he has better footwork and is more of a natural athlete than Canelo. Canelo will tire keeping GGG away. He needs to go for a stoppage early on.

Basically, it will look like Brook Spence. Canelo landing the crisper shots early on, but GGG eventually breaking him down.

the official judges didn't have him up by 3 after 8 and I had it 4-3 Brook after 7 .

At this point I think GGG wants to hurt Canelo. So If age isn't a factor yet for the 35yo GGG then I expect to see the GGG we saw vs Lemieux keeping Canelo on the outside and popping him with constant hard jab and right hands.

I'm not sure GGG has the better inside game so best for him to keep Canelo at bay with his reach like with Lemieux

There are times when the corner should throw in the towel. If they knew how bad he was hurt, the corner should have done it to save face for their charge. All in all a good decision, he was hurt and knew he was beat with no upside in sight.

Nah, I think if canelo goes for the stoppage early then he would get stopped.
