Spence going to the UK tells me he wants Thurman next but will Thurman fight him ? I think he wants to unify the titles and move up to 154

Spence was up on all 3 judges scorecards at the time of the stoppage . He was up 3 on one card, 4 on the other and 1 on the third judges card .

I like Spence but agree with others here that he needs another bout possibly two before Thurman. He looked good after he found his range and shortened his punches and fought smart. With Thurman he won't have 2 or 3 rounds to get it together. Although there is a lot of love for him right now doesn't mean he doesn't need to keep working hard and fighting often. Leonard is high on Spence but Spence ain't no Leonard (yet), he could be. I would like to see him shorten his stance and punches, improve on his balance and combination accuracy; in short train to be a Leonard. Irregardless of how much love and/or hype there is for Spence now, he has not even begun to reach his potential.

I think Spence will go the mandatory route and fight Carlos Ocampo - who will take the slot.

Tewa Kiram should get a shot at Lamont Peterson for the interim WBA.

So you could get Garcia v. Porter for the number #1 contender spot (WBC), which should be the next logical fight - but I have feeling Garcia would rather fight Broner. Bigger name and easier fight. Plus the hype surrounding the fight would draw more attention.
yes i do realize that. that's why i'm calling for garcia vs porter

At one point Spence got tired of boxing and started chasing Brook and shortening up on those punches on the inside to the body and head...what a beast and a great performance.

Spence did say that he thought brooks power was over-rated but it won't be the same against Thurman.

Thurman can punch and box (fighting backwards) but Thurman is also vulnerable to the body and that's Spence's specialty so it has the makings of another great fight.

good call on Spence shortening up with those punches on the inside, his trainer probably told him about that.

I have a feeling Thurman will opt to fight Lamont Peterson or Shawn Porter, as his next opponent. I think Errol should target Danny Garcia in the interim, and then have a unification fight. Other options are Jose Benavidez and Konstantin Ponomarev.

Benavidez got shot in the leg so who knows how long he's out
