I prefer to think about what happened as Spence having very similar power to Lil g, since they both did the same thing to the same fighter.

But the OP makes a point. Yes, Spence took 11 rounds to Lil g's 5, but there is no doubt who looked better against Brook.

Until the stoppage in the 5th, it looked like the Kazakh was in for a long night and possible upset.

By contrast, it was clear early on that Spence was executing his gameplan even if he wasn't winning every round.

Not one judge had him behind at the time of the stoppage and rightfully so. One had it a little wider than my card but all had the right guy ahead.
