Two bad weeks In a row for euro fans

First Gervontae embarrasses the English kid and now Spence makes Brook quit in his hometown.

Must be tough right now being a European boxing fan.

With that said spence is the real deal imo he beats Thurman.

When they lose Joshua(and they will) it will time to put them on suicide watch.

Joshua has the reaction time of a 3 toe'd sloth.

Where does all this patriotism come from? Why can't people just be fans of boxers?

I really don't get it... is it an American thing or something? Or just insecurity?

I'm English, yet I wanted Gervonta Davis to win last week because the guy is clearly the future of his division, whereas Liam Walsh is yet another average fighter under Warren's stable. Gervonta winning was good for boxing. I'd say Spence winning last night was good for boxing too.

You know, not everyone is an [insert country here] boxing fan, some of us are just boxing fans.

Boxing fans are the only morons who speak out against patriotism. In any other sport people support their national teams but all of a sudden people aren't allowed to support boxers from their own country? Defaq?

He'd be talking out the other side of his mouth if Brook won.

Everybody can show patriotism except us.

Calling someone a moron because they have a differing viewpoint to you only makes you appear ignorant, so I'll respond once to this and leave you to it.

Yes people do support their national teams, but boxing is not a team sport, boxing is an individuals sport. Last nights fight was Errol Spence Jr vs Kell Brook, it was not USA v England. As for who you can support: I can't tell you who you can and cannot support, that is entirely your choice and your right. But apparently because i'm English I had to support Liam Walsh last week and Kell Brook last night? Can you not see the complete contradiction in that?

Nope, I see people doing it the other way too, that's also something I don't agree with. You undoubtedly won't accept that though.

What I found interesting is how the British commentators kept bringing up Jeff Lacy...in both of those fights. It's like they really expected the Americans to be outclassed, as if all American boxers are way overrated.
