I said GGG would ruin the welterweights career and give him and injury that will be career lasting. Although Spence would have UD'D Brook without the injury anyway, it would have been more competitive.

It's happened before where a guy gets career sustaining injury. Brook needs to take about 3 easy fights before trying to step up again.

Going from Golovkin to Spence wasn't a smart move anyway..his handlers don't care about him.

GGG softened Brook up for sure. Spence is just better,tougher and gamer with much more heart and stamina than Brook. Spence would have defeated Brook even if Brook had never fought GGG. Spence set a blistering pace that Brook couldn't keep up with. Spence has exceptional stamina that Brook can't match. You might be right but Brook is still a very good fighter and Spence was good enough to exploit any weakness that Brook has. So credit has to go to a Spence if he took Brook to a place he didn't wanna go back to.

Regardless of whether or not he would had done better without fighting GGG, it can definitely be said that moving up then back down in weight for an unwinnable fight against GGG that left you needing surgery afterwards was an extremely bad call. Dude wasted what could had been a really good career overall. 31 years old with only 2 good fights at WW, losing 1 of them... dude could had done better with the talent he had. Wish him the best though.
