Spence was landing bodyshots from the get-go though.
I agree with the fact that Brook did much better when he was the one going forward. I've seen Spence box and move well but his footwork was sloppier than I've seen it.

Yep I could see someone that is more technical, more solid and more intelligent outboxing him, turning him and basically sticking a jab in his face. But that person better be ready for that body pressure for 12 rounds.

I don't think Spence will be that easy to outbox, sure by a bigger longer guy that moves around and keeps Spence out of range. That is a problem for anyone though, if that guy is up to and committed to that task.

If Spence can get in range he is problematic for guy because he seems to understand how to work out of the clinch, he understands the forearm shove and create space, while being able to shorten up his shots good. Plus he is a strong cat so most guys are not going to just be able to hold him down especially at 147.

Plus you have to be willing to really go after a boxer, a lot of boxer punchers end up in a boxing contest with a pure boxer but Spence seems to have that mindset that if boxing isn't working he isn't going down with a sinking ship.

I said last week that for Brook to win he cannot back off Spence. He did and he got destroyed.

I truly believe that Keith Thurman has what it takes to beat Spence. They are both large welters with power, diff is that Thurman can box and has the movement to frustrate Spence. It will be a good fight when it goes down.

Bradley, Thurman and even Peterson and Garcia give Spence a long night.

Good Luck trying to run away from Spence Jr for 12 Rounds

If you can't get physical on the inside with him I think Spence Jr DESTROYS that Back Foot style which explain why he gave even Mayweather HELL during sparing. I see why now! He doesn't have fancy feet but he has quick feet and knows how the cut the ring off. Not only that but Body Shots take away Legs!

Like Kell Brook, yeah you might get a good early start but eventually the body shots break you down and slow you down then you are forced to fight him inside where he is at his BEST! We shall see but I personally think his biggest challenge would come from someone who can do what he does and that would be like a Erikson Lubin. I can see that being huge fight years from now at 154! That is looking to far ahead, Lubin haven't had his step up/championship fight yet but I do think he will be the next to break out!

Mayweather, Pacquiao & Cotto will as well. at the elite level, who wouldn't but the question is can they win? The 3 i just mention probably would win due to experience but at this level no boxing match should be a short night.

Short night are between garbage man and cab driver type fighters.

I don't mean it to be critical of Spence, because I don't think that many people exist at the moment who could pull it off.

It's just acknowledging that he has some chinks in the armor but so what...who can make him pay for having them?

I agree, he is far from complete but time and maturity will fix probably fix that if he stays dedicated.

I remember Andre Ward first few fights and he was flawed just like Spence but time and proper dedication fixed all that.

Spence has DOG in him (just like Ward) and you have to HURT Spence consistently to keep him off of you.

Now Spence has little to zero head movement and I hate that. He blocks with his gloves (which isn't bad but he can mix up his defense diversity).
