Golovkin must have weakened his facial bones and of course, taking this fight right after it seems like a mistake now. I guess those injuries are very hard to overcome.
I recommend a long hiatus of a year and then an easy couple of fights where he's not getting hit much. I understand he's a brave guy but clearly his face won't hold up right now. Linares came back from facial injuries though. It can be done. I think he just needs a long lay off. His face has taken enough damage for a while.
