I don't think Khan/Brook will be the big fight it would've been 2 years ago

Khan was rebuilding himself at welterweight and Brook was undefeated and a champion both should've fought last year at Wembley Stadium.

After the inactivity of Khan and another brutal KO loss along with two brutal finishes of Brook and no world title there's just no way this fight can happen with the same hype and magnitude. I don't even think it's a stadium fight anymore.

It would have to be a 10 round fight or some **** ranking ABC belt just to get it to 12 round. I mean casuals won't care for this fight, who would even be hyped for a WBA international championship main event for example.

Fight has seriously been ruined and both men lost a lot of money.

    Both damaged goods.

One positive is that Khan will probably be more willing to face him after his last 2 brutal fights.

This fight has lost most of its lustre when they went up against the two best middleweights in the world and got stopped by them.

True and Khan's post Canelo inactivity and Brook's lose tonight and mental issues have ****ed it up even worse. I don't see it being this record breaking 1.5 million PPV buys anymore.

It should just be in a big arena and maybe it'll still do high 100,000's like 600-750K. I don't think it'll even beat Froch/Groves 2 anymore.

You don't understand the UK market. Grudge matches sell. Amir is a big name and Kell has grown his name amongst the more casual fans despite the two losses.

Neither Froch nor Groves were as big a names as Khan and Brook and they drew huge numbers. Joshua-Whyte, Haye-Bellew, Bellew-Cleverley, Degale-Groves, etc. All grudge matches that both boxing fans and the more casual Sky Sports fans got behind in a big way.

Khan vs Brook is still huge, because it's been built up for a long time and if it's announced, the dislike they have for each other will be rammed down peoples throats for months. It's still a massive fight, trust me.
