This is what happens when the top guys face each other. They end up having close fights and somehow someone's a bum and someone's over rated.
Spence just fought a quality opponent & got a KNOCKOUT in a foreign country. He'd have taken the most punishment ever but it's well worth it. It's all boxes ticked for me tonight.

Funny thing is.

Broner has accomplished more than Spence.

Spence is undoubtedly the truth at welter if he takes Thurman out though. Seeing as he's not facing him next (thurman's injured) he should face a solid guy like Peterson, Porter or Garcia.

Broner also has accomplished more than Golovkin. You Pacquaio fans needs to stop hating on Spence. Pacquiao career is almost over. Spence KO Pacquiao even if he hires Ariza again.

Even with this win, i was not impressed with Spence.

IMO he lack fluidity, adjustability and lateral movement. He's just a bull with huge punching power going straight foward, head down, looking for hummer run shot, even swinging wild from time to time and loosing balance in the process. The technique was awful from time to time, he dosen't keep the technique tight for one full round.

Spence is not technically sound, he awaits a guy like Crawford, or maybe Thurman, a good technical fighter with movement to expose his flaws. With good movement i'm sure Spence become vulnerable.

As for Brook, he's a warrior i give it to him, but i was more deceived with his skills that i was impressed with Spence's. A small arsenal of shots, no lateral movement, looked slow. But still his strategy almost worked, i tought he was gainning momemtum during the middle of the fight and found a way to slow Spence relentless offense....until his eye got worse.
