Hats Off To Kell Brook

****** left hook has to be my favorite comment of the day.
I do know it isn't as bad as it looks. Danny knows he is in punching range when he throws it by the position of his feet but still. Boxer's must be annoyed when they find themselves staring at the lights when being hit by that.Comment

I respect Brook for not robbing Spence off a real actual title. Losing to Spence really demotes him to B-Level. Unless he can pick himself up after an inevitable Khan match up, which he could quite possibly lose, I don't see where he could go from there.I pretty much predicted what would happen tonight.
I knew Spence was a beast and that he'd prove too much.
What I did not anticipate is seeing TWO warriors in the ring.
Brook has absolutely nothing to be ashamed of.
I know he has said he is going to move up, but frankly I don't see any other welter beating Kell.
Hell, I would mind seeing a rematch because, make no mistake, Kell had his moments and hurt Spence several times tonight.
Much respect to you, Special K, and I sincerely hope to see you raising your hands in victory sometime in the near future.Comment

Garcia can't move like Spence. He can't box like Spence. He pretty much relies on catching you with something big. He doesn't break good fighters down.I firmly believe Danny Garcia at 147 vs. Kell Brook results in a very similar outcome. Garcia is much faster on the trigger than Spence with equivalent power and much better defense.
Once Brook starts slowing, he gets tagged in the face, his eyes get jacked, and it's just a matter of time after that.
Completely different fight.Comment

Spence is the best welter in the world and a top 5 P4P fighter.
Losing to him is no demotion, especially the way Kell went out on his shield.Comment

Maybe to you and me, but judging by Hearn's post fight words, it's clear this is pretty much the end of the road for him.
His last hope would be if he could somehow move up and completely dominate jr middle.Comment

Not sure where you get that from. Bundu was catching Spence half the night and tonight, for 5 rounds Spence looked like Porter without the Linebacker. Tripped over himself, getting caught with big shots, completely outclassed in the first half of the fight.
You're right that Garcia looks for a big shot, but as we learned from the Matthysse fight, Garcia can box when he wants.Comment
