I was kinda feeling that Spence gets the knockout, for obvious reasons: GGG ruined Brook and going down to 147 will not be beneficial for a grueling war. But i hoped that Brook would fight like he fought in the first 7 rounds when he was winning and controlling the fight. It was very close bute Brook edged it, if he could have kept it going like that, yeah he would have gotten the decision. Then in Round 7 his other eye popped and he relived the GGG fight, the injury, the pain, the double vision, being terrified of being blinded.. from then on it was all Spence.

Because fighters aren't robots. God forbid people (Like me) predict that a fighter that didn't have a proven chin might get hurt by a champion with good timing and decent power. But in your own elitist land your word is law so we'll go with that. Must be nice to have never been wrong before.

How some people saw Brook KOing Spence is... just not understandable. I didn't need Spence to beat a top3 WW to realize he was a legit. I didn't care about his "resume". It you have good eyes, it was obvious he was good.

Seriously you are one of the best poster around here. You are absolutely spot on! In my heart I wanted Brook to win but after analysing their styles, resume and listening to other boxers both British and American, I decided to go with Spence. You have these fanboys who would abuse you, just because you pick against their man. I got called khantard because i didn't think Brook is the man at 147 based on his mediocre resume.

Now you have a guy with 4 years as a pro going to his hometown and basically destroying him in front of his fans..... You can support a guy and still pick against him.

Spence had never fought anyone as good as Brook and his chin had never been tested, so I can see why some people thought Brook could be too much too soon.

I like for guys from the UK to be succesful and do well but i looked at this fight and just saw it as an easy win for spence. Regardless of what i wanted to happen.

I respected a variety of predictions but felt that the talk of Brook KOing Spence seemed ridiculous, and it was. How many threads were there about Spence's "glass jaw". People here are so desperate sometimes.

I thought if Spence can take Brook's best punches then he's going to win and most likely by late stoppage which is why I hedged my parlay/accumulator that ended with Brook KO with Spence 9-12. I thought he could've had a chin weakness but he's proven he can take good shots well. He's going to be a big star and he'll beat Thurman and maybe even stop him with his body shot onslaught.

Crawford going up to fight the unified champ Spence in 2018 would be incredible.
