I think its a pretty BS call by the ref, especially since everyone agrees that it wasnt intentional and it wasnt tremendously after the bell.

Here is Mayweather Boxing Club Discussing it, (watch it all but if you only want to watch a snippet watch 3:27 its funny as hell)

and here they go more indepth about the situation, jeff speaks about the zab judah situation etc comparing it to dirrel uncle.

I've never heard of a DQ auto-taking your purse away.

If it was some situation deemed effed up by a commission they could & would do so, but it'd be something they'd discuss & announce. And I've heard nothing like that thus far. It seemed a very borderline-ish DQ to me & was for sure not a blatant foul so I don't see any fine or freezing of Jose's purse happening.

I've never heard of such thing tbh but if it is true I don't think this situation would call for that.

Although Idk if his purse was taken away, I think the better example for such thing would be Golota vs Bowe.

DQ means the boxer losers by disqualification. It doesn't mean that boxer doesn't get paid. Where did you get that idea? Imagine if Mayweather was DQed in his fight with Pacquiao. Do you honestly believe he then would not have been paid his huge fortune?

Not only did he blatantly hit after the bell, but he did it twice. He should be DQ'd, Purse held, and banned for 1 Year. He is a disgrace for hitting after the bell so blatantly, TWICE. That Said, what Leon Lawson did was equally as wrong, and Leon should be in jail, if he isnt already.
