If you don't like it, don't watch. There's no titles/rankings at stake. Mayweather has nothing to prove, he's done it all. No need for you to cry about this fight.

The negotiations is what will be interesting to me, not the actual fight. The only way I would be intrigued is if it were mma rules. With boxing I know it's a 100% chance Floyd wins. The mma fight would actually be interesting.


One thing that does intrigue me about the boxing match is there is a high probablilty that Mcgregor get's ko'd. I mean how is Mcgregor going to keep Floyd from just teeing off on him? It will take Floyd at the most 1 minute to figure Mcgregor out, then at that point it will be like a grown man fighting a little kid. Conor will have absolutely nothing to offer. It might be a brutal knockout. And don't say "Floyd doesn't have ko power", because he does have ko power, especially against an amateur level boxer.

Wow.. Conor obtains a boxing license for Floyd to get his 50th. Not worth the PPV for me.

You'd hope Mayweather will be smart enough to get a decent undercard going for this event knowing that a lot of boxing fans see him vs McGregor as a joke of a fight.

This will not go through the normal UFC channels who produce and distribute their own PPVs. This will be business as usual for Mayweather PPVs with Mayweather Promotions being the promoter so of course it will be aired by Showtime who Floyd uses. No shocker here. UFC is the B side. Floyd is the A side his check will be bigger and all UFC doing is collecting a very large percent of McGregor cut from the fight.
