These dudes dont know anything about the sport, all they think is they can get some Urban rapper/singer to sing a song and then BAM a whole new demograhpic is all of a sudden gonna be interested in boxing lmfao. but thats beside the point they have to be one of the worse promoters in the sport.

I've been wondering how they stay in business, my god they are awful. I mean aren't they actually owned by J-Z? Can't he even tweet or post on instragram about his fighters? Do a second of media? ANYTHING to help his fighter sell some PPVs??

i cant really say anything positive or in defense of ROC as a promotional outfit.....

but i mean..what would be the point of investing in heavily promoting this fight? its not going to change anything.....both of these guys really only appeal to hardcores...and the hardcores are already buying this.......they are already paying ward prob more than they should based on the success of the last fight....so they need just hope they can get 250k buys.....im willing to bet they have a good idea of what to expect from this fight...and dumping more money into promoting it heavily is prob seen as just pissing more away to them

Roc can justify another budget for another star now that Cotto's gone. Roc Nation Sports is only a fraction of Jay's parent company. RN Sports has two boxers on top 10 p4p. The portfolio alone is better than Duva's Main Events so who cares that the Ward haters complain. The first fight made more noise and most "fans" cried about it. Let the 2nd fight be and move on to the next. Surely Ward is tired of Main Events. Also Roc Nation affiliates know of the "racism" being undermined by Kova.

decent? kovalev vs ward and rigondeaux vs fuentes is an ok/decent HBO championship boxing card. ppv cards should be a damn good fight with support by at least 3 boxing after dark caliber headliners.

the average showtime double/triple-header turds all over hbo's ppv cards. i havent paid for a ppv since maybe mosley vs cotto or mayweather vs hatton, and the way things are going this last decade, i think the only way i'm gonna pay to see world class boxing is if a big fight comes to boston.
