Thx for posting these. Always fun to see the odds.

Didn't expect to see Spence favored to that degree but overall, I'm not seeing any bargains, unless someone thinks Brook will ko Spence (which seems really unlikely to me).

People seem to love to bet on competitive fights like this because they are excited about them but I think it might be a mistake here.
You laying money on this one, Pandas?

If I was going to bet I would bet on Spence. I think he will win and I hope he will win. I am not sure enough about him winning to bet on it. I only bet when I am pretty sure my fighter will win. This one is close to me. Spence seems like the best of all the welterweights to me but Brook is much better than anyone he ever fought. This fight should tell me how good Spence is or isn't. I think Brook, Porter, Thurman and Garcia are not too far apart in fighting ability. If Spence can dominate Brook then I'll put him at the top of the welterweights. If he just barely beats Brook the he is at the Thurman level. If Brook beats him then he isn't as good as I thought he was.

Yea I was really surprised by that line myself. And its been going up & up. It was -180 Spence a couple weeks back, it was -200 last week & now its -220. Curious to see what the late money does. Would think it has to lean back Brook's way, but who knows.

Brook inside the distance line is sexy I'll admit, cuz I do like the under here. I think this one isn't going the distance or I mighta just got ****** in by the hype cuz usually I do like the over when tip top caliber guys fight.

And yea I've been in on this one. I got a bunch of parlays hitting to if you know who wins. And I got some dog money on Lenroy cuz I think he's more live than those odds.

            -220 Spence
            +180 Brook

Can someone please walk me thru this like I'm a first grader and explain to me what the plus and minus signs mean and the numbers next to them and how they are relative to how much money you bet. Like if you wanna bet $100 on Spence and it says -220 next to his name what would your return be? And same for the return with Brook at +180. And is it better or worse to have a plus or minus next to your name? I'm assuming better because you said Spence is favored. I'm not a gambler but I've always been interested in this. Just don't understand the "odds". The only bet I can understand right now is if you said to a friend, "I'll bet you $50 bucks Spence wins." Than if Spence wins, you get paid $40. If Brook wins, you pay him $50. Thanks.

You put up $220 on Spence to win $100; so if you put up, let's say, $440, you'd earn your money back plus $200 if he wins. You drop $100 on Brook and you earn your cash back + the $180 if he wins. Make sense? Brook is the underdog here, the minus indicates the favorite and the plus is for the underdog.

Yeah kinda. What do you earn if you only bet 100 on Spence and he wins?

And what if you bet $40 on both fighters at those odds. What would you get back. If you can please answer that I will understand it much better. Thanks for the reply.

Anyway, as far as the fight goes, I guess I'm kinda rooting for Spence but wouldn't be disappointed if Brook pulled it off. I'm just glad two top welterweights are fighting in less than 48 hours!! Whoever wins, there will be some future great fights for them in the division which excited me even more.

I bet £300 which is around $370 in U.S currency on KB. Let's see who else puts their money where their mouth is on here, doubt any of you do.
