is going to be vs a nobody knowing top rank. They want to have their own ppv and they have mismatches. Arum should make matches people want to see if he wants to get hbo dates or have decent top rank ppv. He doesnt have a roster to have good fights. I see a fall in top rank. Its all about goldenboy, they keep increasing their roster with champs. Corrales, berchelt, robinson castellanos, gamboa, and now cotto.

Thing with Valdez is he gets caught up in rumbles at times but I think he needed a fight like this where his heart was tested and he was rocked but recovered well which showed he can take a shot!

Davis has yet to be chin checked and his heart tested!

His skills has been tested, his patience has been tested, and his pace as well but we'll see!

All that said, Davis has way more talent and if he gets the fight I wouldn't be surprised if he wins!

agree with every point you made... I see the same thing in davis with the speed, power and reflexes.... He is a level below lomachenko but a level above valdez in my opinion.... I would love to see davis fight marriaga or even a walters or sosa until he gets a shot at valdez!

There are many fights available at featherweight but all the guys he could fight are with haymon or golden boy and not sure arum makes those fights unless he's mandated and forced. You got history in the amateurs with jojo Diaz that would be a great fight but he's golden boy. You got other belt holders to unify against in leo cruz, russell, mares, selby but all with haymon. I can see arum feeding this kid bums as long as he can before he moves him up to 130 to pit against another top rank fighter like lomachenko or walters.

i didnt pay for that scam canelo vs fraud chavez jr lmfao.... Only dumb boxing fans paid for that scam.... I watched gamboa because it was on espn2 which is good.....
