The top 15 is hardly full of names, champions from other organisations can't be ranked and Matthysse paid his sanctioning fee in his last fight and won the WBO international title. The ranking was to be expected. He won the WBA intercontinental too so he's #4 in the WBA. I look forward to seeing my guy return soon and probably on the undercard of Canelo-GGG

Yeah they rank their own champion then a bunch of random guys who paid their fees. Nothing new.

The WBO rankings often exclude guys who are ranked in the top 10s of other organisation so I don't see what's so bad with the rankings overall but I do have a problem wth Horn (who?) and Matthysse who has only fought once in however long.

Anyway, its not like many other rankings are that much better.

I don't really take these rankings seriously anymore. Everyone knows they're a joke and not a true reflection on reality.

Haye was ranked in the top 10 or 15 by some of the organisations after his first fight back after 4 years out, against a youtube trained fighter.
