I think that Jake Donovan is one of the best writers on BS and he picked Porter by UD. Cliff Rold is also another good writer on BS, he also picked Porter to beat Brook.

Most experts didn't like Brook's struggles with the rugged Carson Jones.

You are now gloating via hindsight bias.

How about you make your predictions public at all times and then see how many you have correct. You'll be wrong a bunch of times.
just saying history is repeating itself. you were all so sure porter was the next big thing, couldnt be reasoned with. now you are all so sure spence is the real thing, cant be reasoned with. WHO THE **** HAS SPENCE BEAT?!?!

      Sure.

That doesn't mean he "knocked him out". He was nowhere near hurting him or putting him down.

bigdramashow, why do you think Brook's close to record breaking clinchfest against Porter is perfectly legitimate and acceptable, but not for certain other fighters?

Lol...no. The majority of people just thought he would beat Brook. It doesn't mean they thought he was the next big thing. And i'm not sure what you mean by "you were all".

Porter vs Brook wasn't that big of a fight you know? I don't know why it's being made out to be big now. It was an upset of course, Porter vs a guy with a weak resume at the time and the guy with the weak resume won. It was a surprising outcome, but Brook vs Spence is actually a bigger fight.

That's arguing semantics though. Everyone here knows what others mean when a member says "he was KO'ed" when bringing up a fight where the actual outcome was a technical KO.

Ring had a bit of a nightmare with that one.
I remember most people had Alexander to beat Brook also. Mike Jones too...remember him !
