You can't be p4p when you're not fighting 10 lbs within your weight class. Fighting guys much shorter with a lot less reach. His top wins are gamboa, postol, lundy, and diaz. Gamboa just lost to a journeyman. Postol is an average level fighter. Nothing impressive and very one dimensional.
But he is American so let's Ignore all of that, in all honesty, I think Shawn Porter resume is better and I think If TC went to 147 he'd be exposed by better American fighters.

P4P status isn't just about resume, it also takes into consideration a fighter's skills and how he would stack up against other fighters at the same mythical weight. He doesn't have an elite level fighter on his resume yet, and probably won't until he moves to 147, but judging from his skills thus far, it's safe to say he belongs in the top ten P4P.

He is fighting at 140 if you haven't noticed.. He came in at 157 & Diaz was 161 on fight night
pick any p4p atm & rate their opponents, you'll get a feeling except for a few rest of them look avg & do no belong there.. Golovkin, Loma, Crawford, Kovalev wouldn't have been on p4p list if they had the same resume in 2015 when Floyd, Pac, Wlad, JMM & Cotto were still very active..

It's not Crawford's fault he's so much better than everyone else at 135 and 140.

Postol and Diaz were expected to give Crawford trouble. He dominated both of them.

won all his titles in the ring.....2 weight, ring champion....actually won all his fights in the ring

high ko ratio....undefeated, younger, less fights, beat same # of former champions

Wins over Postol, Beltran, Diaz, Gamboa, Burns > Lemieux, Geale, Brook, Jacobs, Murray

also all the former champions he beat were near or in their prime....Geale was past it, Ouma was shot to bits
