Hatton To Challenge Winner Of Castillo - Corrales 3

WBA Welterweight Champion Ricky Hatton will sit ringside in Las Vegas next Saturday for the third bout between Jose Luis Castillo and Diego Corrales, intending to challenge the victor of this epic trilogy. "Ricky has flown out to Vegas for the Corrales and Castillo fight," said Ray Hatton, manager and father of "The Hitman". "He'd like to fight the winner, although we have heard rumours that Castillo will jump right up to welter afterwards and possibly fight Miguel Cotto." [details]

nice. and that is a statement. wat are u talking about? Those are 2 world class fighters right there. some of the best out there. If hatton can beat either of them, it'll prove to the states that his 147 fight was just a fluke.

im excited. i hope he fights carrales, cause he'll force a war and itll be an awsome fight. cant wait.

I think either fighting Corrales or Castillo, a great fight would be put on. But I think Castillo doesn't want to be at lightweight anymore.

thank you. all this ruiz/hatton crap was annoying me. lol.

Hes more like JCC if anything, but still not really.

I think the Mayweather sr. JCC fight would be very similar to the Hatton Mayweather fight. That is, of coarse, if hatton is at his best.

Hatton woke up with his first 147 fight, and after maybe 1 more fight at the division, he'll be able to manhandle his opponents again. Hes gotta work more on strength and conditioning. Hes got the best stamina ive ever seen, and takes a punch very well. If he can just punch harder and protect his face better, then Hatton has GREATNESS potential written all over him. If he beats Gatti by KO, then we know he's got what it takes to beat Mayweather.
