This....soooo, how do people think he's going to gain another 13 lbs? He'd literally have to drink a gallon and a half of water, which, is possible, but it's just not probable. Even if he does, he'll drop 10+ lbs in water during the fight anyway.

That I don't think he will rehydrate to that. I think he will be close to 162 probably, max.
I do to. I don't know why Ingle is saying this. It makes no sense

Then he probably won't be very mobile which he wasn't against Golovkin either. Which means he will be in a firefight with Spence who seems like the guy with more firepower.

I think he outweighed GGG on fight night and weighed over 170 pounds. That is easy enough if you weigh in at 160. If he weighs in at 147 it will be damn near impossible for him to weigh 170 plus on fight night. He would be bloated and water logged and look like he swallowed a water melon whole. It would do him much more harm than good.

... but what if he eats chocolate cake?

(Wait! He has to make 147 on the scales first...)

Puzzled me also. He took this fight on the grounds that he wouldn't give up his strap, so why the fuck would he choose to drop it on the scales? Quite likely their rehydration plan has him continuing to gain after the morning weigh-in, but 170+ is waaaaay unrealistic. I'd expect somewhere in the low to mid 160s.

A lot of Ingle's fighters are "suspect" on PEDs imo.

Brook been milking 147 far too long. Ingle been keeping him away from 154. He comes in all eye socketed crazy like a McGregor. He should've already been fighting 154 guys like Oscar did until we saw how a 160 hitter would put him in his place. Sturm's power as well when hitting Oscar was apparent.

Unless Matchroom Boxing didn't want to show Brook's real fight night weight of 165 so that casual viewers wouldn't have an opinion of Golovkin's weight to his...

I mean Ingle is saying from 147 to Matchroom's 170+ for Golovkin is already surpassing 23+lbs... so that is sketchy and funny as hell if they could possibly do that or need that for Spence?

I think Hearn purposely faked Brook's fight night weigh in vs Golovkin and had a plan in case to say, "Oh the fight night weighin info was a mistake, we don't know how that number came about, Brook actually weighed 164 against Golovkin on fight night!"
