He's out 6 months and would probably be back within a year from his last fight...

This is why WBA and WBC are the worst.

Nobody is going to miss you 'Ponytail'. Lets get 'Showtime' and 'DSG' for that interim...cause this is going to be the second time Thurman makes Shawn wait due to a 'injury' ; ya'll remember how he faked whiplash about a year ago?

That's just cold. It's not there was a fight set and he pulled out because of injury. Is that the way it's supposed to work? You injured so you lose your title.

Garcia-Porter, Thurman fights the winner as manadatory.

There's no problem with that. By the time Porter and Garcia get it on then have a break, that timescale will fit with Thurman#s return.

"I learned that [Thurman] had the operation and that he will be out of action. We will attend to this matter immediately, we need activity. Shawn Porter is the mandatory challenger - it could be Porter-Crawford, there is also Danny Garcia who lost a close fight. This is important," said Sulaiman to ESPN Deportes.
I have no problem with either one of these fights
