No doubt, and I wouldn't pick against a prime Pac lightly. His speed and angles gave him the edge over a lot of really good fighters who were also bigger.
I would say that among Pac's opponents, the most comparable counter-puncher though would be Marquez.
Marquez demonstrated that a tough, accurate, sharp boxer who can counter Manny effectively with hard shots can give him all that he can handle. I think Bud brings everything Marquez did to the table and more, and as a bigger man.
I would pick Bud over Lomachenko for many of the same reasons, and I think Loma is easily one of the most talented guys to ever box.Comment

I'd give TC a very good chance against any verison of Manny. Styles make fights, and Manny's not just gonna run over him like some posters are saying. And everyone knows I'm a Pac fan for life. People bringing up Gambia have to realize, Gambia is a boxing savant of the highest order, and one of Cuba's finest amateur fighters ever. He could give any man in or around his weight class, hell for the first 4-5 rounds, and is slick as hell, master of angles, pivoting, and footwork, and has blazing handspeed with crazy good head movement and defense. Problem is, TC is a super crafty fighter himself, and sets up some of the cleanest traps I've seen in a really long time. The guy has an ability to set you up with a counter punch, and be in position where he has all the leverage he can get into his punch, while you're at your most vulnerable position.
Anyone that's saying Manny walks all over him, and just knocks him out like he's nothing is talking crazy, and going off nostalgia. Remember, TC will have a 3" height advantage, and a 3" reach advantage. The way he fights, that's a huge advantage to have.
I'm not staying TC is the favorite, or even wins, but he gives any version of Manny all he can handle, and then some. And I'm so tired of people acting like he hasn't beaten anyone. TC's faced a bunch of the top guys in boxing, and even beat the other #1 guy at 140. Too many posters suffer from shirt term memory, and the power of hindsight. The guys beaten enough top, world class fighters to see how insanely talented and skilled he is, and if you still think he's unproven, and not a great fighter, you're a legit armchair quarterback, and just talking ****, because you're being a super Pacquaio fanboy.Comment

Crawford is still building his resume, he still have a lot to show and to prove. He has a decent resume for someone with his talent and age, Crawford is not 24, he's 29 now so I think it'd be hard for him to have that kind of resume.
With that out of the way, I think in 1 on 1 competition at 140 lbs that Crawford might have a slight advantage, Pacquiao would always have trouble with tall movers because he can't cut the ring off so well and he doesn't have a good jab, Pacquiao is at his best when u r exchanging with him or when u stand in range because he's an aggressive counter puncher by nature, if u r an outside fighter u r gonna give him a lot of trouble.
The blue print was the Shane Mosley fight. Even though Shane lost all rounds, he managed to neutralize Pacquiao by simple foot movements and had Pacquiao lunging in all night and I think a young Crawford with his counter punching abilities, great jab and speed can give Pacquiao all he could handle.Comment
