Joshua got somewhat lucky in that fight. His power saved him, because Wlad outboxing his ass and had it under control.
It's not something he'd prefer to do again.
He outoxed Wlad for the first 4 rounds, dropped him in the 5th & then got rocked, was phucked until round 9, won round 10 and stopped him in round 11, them middle rounds were hard but I would hardly say he was outboxed all fight.
Wlad should leave on a positive note and therefor fight DEONTAY WILDER! Not sure why his managers haven't secured this fight. Wlad would easily beat Wilder and retire with the WBC belt.
Agreed 100%. Wlad went out fighting like a true champ and at his age, it was a true passing of the torch type fight. I wish he would call it a day. He earned more respect for that loss with a lot of people than for most of his wins.
The AJ fight probably took a lot out of Wlad. He was clearly physically beaten, rather than just being outwitted like he was with Fury. Still, Wlad can beat Parker and probably Wilder too.

do you know how to score a fight? a lot of people had klitschko up in their scoredcards, specially after the knockdown, he was out on his feet in rounds 6,7,8. A judge had klitschko up and the other two had it close. Joshua knocked him out and won, but you make it sound like it was a walk in the park for him.
Unfortunately, the WBC has Stiverne as Wilder's mando. He can only get out of that by fighting for another belt (Parker). The person who loses out the most is Luis Ortiz. It seems that AJ is going to fight Pulev...WTF?
AJ fighting Pulev isn't really a WTF... Pulev was mandated before Ortiz and thus would always come first, plus the WBA have already said they'd probably give Joshua a voluntary defence before his mandatory. If Joshua doesn't want to get stripped of a title then his only option is Pulev if the Klitschko rematch doesn't happen.
Wlad was inactive for a year thanks to coke head phag0t Fury. I say he should go for it for the last time!!!! They both made 20 mil each so the money will be there, why not !!! WAR WLAD!

If you say so! I would much rather see AJ vs. Ortiz than AJ vs. Pulev. I didn't read where the WBA said they would give AJ a voluntary. So that means even after Pulev, Ortiz has to wait. WOW!
