Both of you seem to want to over simplify the comparison between Spence and Porter in order to make your argument. There were no UK fighters picking Porter to win like there are with Spence. Believe what you must to feel confident in a Brook win, just don't disappear or make excuses when Spence wins.

Whats wrong with some hype ? why everyone are so butthurt about ppl praising a young fighter? its 100% part of ANY sport and its alot of fun watching a prospect with hype becomes the real deal , do we get hype jobs getting exposed ? sure , so WHAT, if folks here are hyping Spence up its more then ok its whats being a fan is all about , its not like ppl are saying he is P4P king or something ..... I like both fighters may the best man win and i think it will be Brook for that matter , but to ppl who only go about "what did Spence do ?!?" metric they should realize that in sport you go into stardom status from being a guy/team that done nothing by doing great things , and beating brook qualifies , so IF he does it he validates the hype and if he doesn't (and it depends on how brook wins) he loses a lot of the momentum he brings to the fight and he goes into rebuilding that "hype" again , ce la vi.

Why do people say porter was mini Tyson? He doesn't have one punch power and he doesn't sit on his punches. I'm American and I never ever viewed porter as even elite in the division, he's a one dimensional fighter who can give certain styles problems. Much like the U.K.s own, Amir khan.

Even if Spence loses, which he won't, I wouldn't view him like that.

No different from Canelo after the Floyd fight or Floyd leading up to Corrales or Rigo against Donaire or Ward against Kessler or Crawford against Gamboa/Postol. These guys backed it up. Let's see if Spence can bc Brook is not a pushover
