There is NO WAY Golden boy budges on the Sept. 16th date for Mayweather/McNugget...
IF they go headup... Oscar moves the fight to Texas instead of Vegas and packs 100,000 into the Cowboys stadium.

Let's see what happens tho... Everyone in the know sees thru the Farce.
(It's sucks because I'll admit I want to watch the circus aswell... lol)

$200 in PPV in the same month doe... lol

Canelo/GGG does OVER 1m PPV buys no matter what Floyd does. That's 1m PPV buys out of Floyd's pocket. You would be limiting your audience. Either the investors shut it down or Floyd, UFC lose money.
That's going under the assumption that they go head 2 head and no one moves off the date..

Because yes, that's what would happen, and that's why the smaller fight would move off the date..

Just like how Disney movies own the dates of Memorial Day and Christmas, is because the drop marvel movies and Star Wars,, others can still release their movies then, but none do, and they move off because they are the smaller fish..

How is Floyd taking the date, that he has had so much success on and staging the biggest fight of the past few years on it be shooting yourself in the foot?

He's trying to maximize his revenue so why would he risk losing money to Canelo? Mayweather will fight on another day. That simple.
                Mayweather isn't stupid ?!!

Fortunately for him, he has intelligent business people taking care of him, otherwise he would be broke already.

No shot lol HBO has already started promoting it they are committed, every big venue in the world is already begging to throw insane money for the fight. The train has already left the station and Dana White who is too shrewd a businessman already conceded they moving the date. Floyd/Mcgregor might sell more PPVs if they were on different dates but they are also the one the most hurt if they compete. They can't just sell 1m PPVs they need to try and match Floyd/Manny PPV dates if you take 1M buys out of the equation this event loses countless millions. Plus there is very little overlap in fans who are excited for both events but the ones who would likely buy a Floyd/McGregor as well as Canelo/GGG will choose the Canelo fight over it. You are not convincing a single boxing fan to pick that circus over the biggest fight in the entire sport. You are NOT convincing a Mexican to pick that circus over Canelo/GGG. UFC fans and fans who are on the fence and don't buy boxing PPVs might pick Floyd/McGregor but those guys likely wouldn't buy Canelo/GGG anyway. And people who buy PPVs just to root for Floyd are not as big a group as you think. He sold so many PPVs by playing the villain and getting people from other fanbases to pay to root against him. The bigger the threat the more he sold. Well in this fight he will be probably have the largest odds in his favor to win a fight since he's fought on PPV. Meaning it's viewed as a massive mismatch. Head to head competition hurts Floyd's pocket more then it will Golden Boy

Disney plants it's flag and starts promoting long before anyone else. If Floyd/Connor was done months in advance maybe Golden Boy would of moved. But it's way too late hell even Dana White who understands business more then Floyd agrees with this. Canelo/GGG has the better fight already has the ball rolling with HBO and venues lined up. They ain't moving and Floyd knows it he is blowing smoking people around him will tell him just pick another date this ain't about your ego it's about making money and it's just bad business for Floyd this late in the game to try and move Canelo off that spot.

                      LOL right.

Well Floyd vs Conor loses more revenue (cuz it'll probably be $120-$150 vs $70 for Canelo vs GGG) the overall revenue for GGG vs Canelo would be greatly damaged & if GBP is guaranteed both guys too much going in they could actually lose money on that fight as crazy as that might sound or need to cancel it just to insure it can pop off on a friendlier date that can secure the guarantees via the buys are reached.

This is economics not boxing my friends. More casual fans are interested in Conor & Floyd then Canelo & GGG & more sports fans being interested = more buys & therefore more money.

If we are talking just boxing fan money I'd probably agree GGG vs Canelo wins out, but it'll be a landslide of money by the casuals & even non-sports/non-boxing fans for Floyd vs Conor & if anyone knows that its Oscar, drunk or sober Oscar, so the date for sure would be moved cuz Oscar knows when to hold them & when to fold them, & I'm not talking about panties I'm talking about his hand regardless of any pokerface he may have today.

But it ain't popping off in Sept. if it pops off at all so Oscar is good.
