Where do you rank Naoya Inoue P4P?

I'd like to see him fight outside Japan against a top 10 to gauge where he is at the moment. He has power in both hands but not sure about his defensive skills against a taller, technical opponent with longer reach.

I heard a while ago that HBO wanted to make Inoue-Roman. Inoue seems to get injured a lot though.

Well supposedly we're getting RG-Rungvisai II vs Cuadras-Estrada.

By the time that whole thing settles down, Inoue might not be able to make the weight anymore.

But he's a good fighter, looking forward to seeing more of him.

He is in my top 10 and only in his early 20s. An exceptionally skilled fighter with power in both hands AND he is starting to switch hit too! His win over the very durable and very long reigning champ Narvez so early is a win not to be looked over.

Now, if he can fight and beat 2 of the 3 following names: Gonzalez, Cuadras or Yafai then he would move into the top 5.

He has defeated "top contenders" -- in 2 divisions. At 108 he beat Adrian Hernandez, who was a solid paper titlest -- at least equivalent to a top contender. And at 115 he beat Omar Narvaez, who was getting very old, but had still managed to hold on to his title through more than a dozen defenses and also Kohei Kono, who was also getting old, but was still a top 10 contender.

That resume you could compare to Loma -- except without a loss. No, he doesn't look as great as Loma. He looksraw at times, but since hes ususally going through dudes, I don't hold it against him much.

Not everyone cares about lower weight fighters, or Asian fighters. That's cool, just means your boxing knowledge is limited.

Yes, he gets overlooked by some who don't follow the smaller divisions.
