I love how "fake news" has become a thing.

Arum is mad as hell that HBO is keeping TC's earning potential low by making him fight his biggest fights (Postol and possibly Indongo) on PPv's rather than on HBO to help increase his profile.

Bob is going to lose money again if he has to make Crawford/Indongo on TR PPV.

      Just make Crawford/Manny first Bob.

He can't expect Crawford to become a marquee name if he continues to fight opponents that the casual fan base has never heard of or cares little about. Most fans don't know or care about Felix Diaz, Molina, Lundy, Jean, et al. No one outside of loyal boxing fans even knows that Indongo exists. This is why TC is so hard-up for a fight with Manny instead of unifying at 140. He wants to make money and I can't blame him. Problem is, even if he gets the Manny fight he has to perform in entertaining fashion and win convincingly. Then, the next obstacle is that all the best talent at 147 belongs to Uncle Al.

I think Arum was actually in gangsta mode during that rant. I mean ffs some cat asking questions like he smart don't even know Koncz isn't a lawyer ffs. You can't go up to Arum asking dumb f#cking questions & not expect him to put you in your place.

Hell Arum should be calling out HBO & Showtime cuz he's got a roster that anyone should want a relationship with if their smart (Bud, Loma, Oscar V, Ramirez, Bradley & a bunch other cats on the come up).

And like I've been saying in other threads I think Arum is looking into new things these days so if Top Rank on Netflix pops up or some other streaming platform don't be shocked. The viewing of boxing is going to be changing soon & the fact that PBC has come into the game + HBO has about 1/5 the budget they had 20 years ago is a sign of that change coming. Its simply a matter of who & when.

He is a feisty old man who doesn't take **** or put up with BS. Maybe that spirit helps keep him going. He is 85 and in good heath and worth millions. He made those millions by being a good, smart promoter. He loves promoting boxing and he is good at it. Most of us will never live to be 85.

Arum is 80 something years old and he still knows every fighter in the sport by name.

                dude is an intellectual juggernaut.

think of your 80 yr old grandparent. they 1 foot in the grave.
