Mosquera/Valero is going down in August? I just read some **** about this, sorry if I'm late on this news.

This would be a big-time fight...Mosquera did some impressive work dropping and beating a tough as nails fighter in Yoda 3K. Valero is a myth at this point...so this fight would undoubtedly provide some major fireworks in the 130 pound division.

Anybody have anything else to fill me in with?

I hope it's true. Valero is the subject of glowing sparring stories. Hope too that someone on this site knows for sure. That's a fight to await.

Yeah, Mosquera knocks Valero out in 5. Valero's jump from fighting D level fighters to championship fight will be his downfall. The fact that Valero got a title shot just by knocking out bums shows who pathetic the WBA really is.

well yeah but nothing on boxrec is official in my book. they go off on rumors and tangents all of the time.

if it is true indeed though then it'll be a intriguing fight to say the least. I want to see more of Mosquera.
