Dirrell is good for the sport

It is a dangerous sport and people should really try and respect the rules, for the sake of their opponents. People are calling Dirrell a quitter and says he is acting. I don't think he is. But his fights against Abraham and Uzcategui should be seen as moral victories for all those who respect the rules and as a warning to those who like to break the rules. Say what you want about Dirrell, but he always sticks to the rules and that is respectable. You should be happy that he won those fights, unless you want fouls (intentional or not) to go unpunished. When Dirrell beats the cheaters by sticking to the rules, it should be seen as a victory for every boxing fan in the world.

Do you really call it a dive when you get hit as hard as Dirrell got hit in both of these cases? In that case, you don't know **** about boxing.

I agree. His corner should learn to not only respect the rules during the fight, but also outside of the fight. It was not okay to suckerpunch anyone, even if it happened after the fight and thus had no relevance for the fight at all.

What is better for the sport than a guy who respects the rules and makes the game more safe by reminding the cheaters that they will get punished?

It was not Dirrell's fault. He hit no one after the bell and he suckerpunched no one.
