I still like GGG but he better go for a knock out. If it goes to a decision I am afraid of the politics of boxing and I think GB has the advantage there. Also, the crowd I think will be largely for Canelo and that will be hard for the judges to tune out.

Come September 17th, Canelo will be a WW in the Eyes of GGG haters

GGG haters only seen what they want. GGG gets hit less than most fighters, but they see easy to hit.

They think he can't box because they have no idea what they are seeing. The footwork, timing, accuracy, balance, punch choice, etc.

They don't realize power isn't even his best attribute.

That's what got Canelo to sign. Now let's see if that was a ploy to get him to sign.

A guy who couldn't hurt Chavez, Cotto, will hurt a guy we've never seen hurt before.

GGG will start slow and Canelo will land some. But ggg will smile and keep moving him back. By the third round Canelo will be sore and realize the mistake he made. GGG will be landing hard shots to his liver and hammer shots on his forehead.

By Round six Canelo team will start seriously considering stopping it to keep from sustained damage.

By round 8 Canelo will look like a battered man while ggg look relatively undamaged.

By September 17th you'll be saying Canelo was a midget and ggg fought a WW Canelo.

I favor canelo in this fight but it wont be easy for either fighter
I don't think ggg will try to walk him down. Canelo will retreat to the ropes. GGG will sit far enough back to put pressure and land clear hard shots.

Canelo will try to rest on the ropes and it will be his downfall.

At this point I still favor Golovkin slightly to win, but I could see Canelo dropping and even finishing Golovkin with a liver punch, in addition to landing some good uppercuts. He just has more ring savvy than Golovkin's other opponents to date.

I agree GGG Stops Canelo by round 10...or even 8 or 9. I will say the last time I saw GGG look utterly unstoppable was vs David Lemieux. He needs to get back to that. Hopefully Abel S. puts together a solid plan. People on here saying Canelo gets a knockout know better than that I gotta think. I don't recall seeing GGG even wobbled certainly never in trouble. Even if Canelo fights the perfect fight and wins, he isn't knocking out GGG. Don't know why so many people are anti GGG. He's fun watch. Good for boxing.
