PBC haters in the media proven wrong over and over.

Dan Rafael was asked yesterday if he knew when the next PBC on FOX would be.

His answer: "Nope and not sure there will be another one."

The very next day, it was officially announced that the next PBC on FOX will take place July 15, 2017.

I don't understand why people can hate on PBC. F#ck it give me free boxing. I love it. Today we had Showtime, PBC, HBO. All day of boxing.

I don't give a fuck one way or another, but in general I like the idea of more boxing exposure - however I'm not quite sure whether an answer of 'I don't know and I'm not sure' can really be proven wrong (or particularly categorised as hating for that matter). Just saying.

It's a ridiculous pattern of major media member after major media member over and over insisting that the sky is falling for PBC, only to wind up looking like fools every time.

Dan Rafael is ESPN's #1 boxing expert. You don't think he looks foolish when one day he's acting like it's gloom and doom for PBC on FOX and the very next day they announce another show?

I often think Fat Dan looks foolish, but then I could say the same about the vast majority of pundits and commentators of the sport... what can I say, I'm an unabashed cynic.

My point was that I think you're starting at shadows here, this was hardly a smoking gun, just some throwaway comment that really said nothing at all. Hardly worth starting a thread about.

FOX was hours away from announcing their next PBC event and not only did ESPN's #1 expert have no idea there would be a show so soon, he didn't think there would be another show ever again!

I agree with you that the vast majority of pundits look foolish and their bias and incompetence continues to be exposed more and more the longer PBC marches on.
