Should Direll's trainer be banned from boxing?

My point is that to prevent this stuff you need a deterrent, if the fighter can't fight then nobody gets paid. It's extreme yes, but boxing camps often have a certain type of collective culture and it is one way to clean up the sport. I know it's controversial and will likely not happen, but believe me...it would work very quickly.Comment

Yes, he should be banned after he serves his jail time. That whole thing was totally ******. The foul didn't look intentional at all. Shyt happens sometimes. There's no reason to act like an idiot. I thought it was funny how the guy took his best shot and then just looked at him. Haha. But yes. Permanent ban. Doubt they will though.Comment

Last night was shocking and an incredibly bad look for the sport. He does not get to come swanning back to the sport. **** that dude.Comment

No, we don't think about giving a lifetime ban in the future if he does it again. The lifetime ban comes in NOW, and he does prison time too.

He's going to prison as he should. And no network should televise Dirrell again, the antics by him and his family are disgraceful to the sport, and no one gives a fck about him anyway. He's just another Haymon guy who gets tv time for no damn reason.Comment
