    The conspiracy against Cuban fighters

Cubans are bad for the sport from a business standpoint. They don't have a huge fanbase, swallow hypes and take them to the bottom of the sea.

Some are boring from a casual standpoint, and the exciting ones are extremely dangerous due to their supreme skill level. Bad, bad news for any manager. Look what happened to Donaire. Boring ass Rigo completely halted Arum's money train. At a certain point, yes, it's good as a manager to make decisions for the good of the sport, but money is money and at one point they're going to try to block Cuban fighters whichever way they can.

Yeah it's a weird ass situation Cuban pros got going on. They got the most consistent iron sharpening iron amatuer situation in the world yet not enough fans anywhere on the planet that isn't selling tickets for a quarter or whatever tickets to amateur shows costs in Cuba. And the style is rather mild in the excitement category so it doesn't endure enough non-Cuban boxing fans to become all that loyal to them.

I'd make the analogy it's damn near like being an exceptional soccer team or something from some other planet if it wasn't such a notable or novel thing being from another planet lol. Stands would be near empty for every game cuz you don't have any fans here to watch you win + who wants to go watch their team get f#cking crushed.

They is honestly no better country as a whole to universally take bad guy roles in the boxing world than Cuba. All these guys need to become Mayweather's lol. No one is every gonna pay en masse to watch them win or to see them beat there guy, but they can get a loyal audience who'll hate on them and come to watch them lose one day potentially.

Bro that would do wonders for there careers probably. Have Rigo drop some pro commie bars & sh^t. Might even get some of the microaggression crew all hyped on commie behavior with the shared resources & such & create some legit fans not just hater fans now that I think about it.

I honestly think Arlen and Robeisy would be stars in the pro game. They have all the components

I don't think it's possible for Cubans to defect to the USA any more though since ***** ended the "Wet Foot, Dry Foot" policy. I think the cruiserweight Frank Sanchez was the last notable one to make it to the US, but as far as I know he hasn't done any boxing yet

Frank just fought and won his pro debut. Not all Cubans fighters fight the same. Barthelemy's brothers can go toe to toe with the best of them. Luis Ramon, Hernandez, Barrera, Gonzalez, Dortiocos, Socarras, and quite a few others too. You guys think that Rigondeaux and Lara are the norm and that is not true. You should see the tournaments back in Cuba. It is a war. And Rigodeaux will fight if pressed just like Lara did against angulo.

No conspiracy theory, boxing is a business and like in every business you have to attract customers. Cuban style doesn't do that, and Cuban fighters are Unwilling to adapt.

Puerto Rican fighters are very good amateurs yet they have no problem transitioning to a more friendly style once they go pro.

Despite popular belief there are plenty of good boxers in Mexico, they just know that style doesn't pay, so they opt for a more friendly brawler style. -think Morales, Marquez-

Nobody forces them to come to USA and fight

If they want to be embraced by the American fans they need to market themselves appropriately

Going full heel isn't a bad idea ,as Mayweather showed people will pay more to hopefully see you lose, than win.

Or they need to embrace the style Americans enjoy and accept that if they want to live in our country they need to learn our language, etc.
