London - Yesterday the Boxing Writers' Club held a lunch in honor of Joe Calzaghe.
Calzaghe attended and had the opportunity to speak.
Here is what Calzaghe said bout retiring and his goals: "I think a decade as world champion has a nice ring to it."
Calzaghe's plans on how much longer he wants to fight: "Two more years."
Calzaghe added: "I don’t want to be one of those guys who has one too many fights. But sometimes you don’t know if it is going to be your last fight. I would never get in the ring if I wasn’t at my best. I’m 34 now and I should be just past my best, but I’ve just had my best fight." (refering to his fight with Jeff Lacy.)
