You can't duck people in other weight classes. When was ggg a mandatory to ward at 168? When did ggg hold a belt at 168 ? If one day he says anyone from 154-heavy weight. Does this mean he should now face cruiserweights and heavy weights. You do realize that boxing is a sport of weight classes? You sound like a casual. Boxers don't just randomly jump up and down 3 weight classes.
he doesnt have to be a mandatory to fight ward. if he wants to fight at 168 but wont, then why say it? why say 154-168 but will fight ward at 164? sounds like he is scared to me and wants ward drained.

IF canelo offered 3g a contract to sign AND 3g didnt like the numbers, how can it be assumed canelo was ''shook'' ?!?!? had 3g signed that contract, canelo would have tore it up ?!?!?!

      sometimes the logic evades me

They waited 1 year and 6 months to sign the fight, a timeline that DLH always said.
Let's not act like he dragged it out for 4 years.
It takes time to build the interest of the casuals.

but di they really build the fight for most of that time? they spent most fo their time talking to media about how golovkin was undeserving, commanded less purse, how canelo didn't need him, etc. now that he's had two fights where he's looked over the hill they've changed their tune.

and canelo beat cotto much longer than 1.5 years ago. that fight was in 2015. dropped a green belt to avoid the golovkin fight, and went down to 155, claiming he was not a middleweight, too. this is not what you do when you're building a fight. this was stalling until golovkin aged and benefitting from the cross promotion that inflates the price on your interim fight. like a mini pacquiao - mayweather, with less double sided fight avoidance.

its not a duck if you wait long enoguh to fight someone? so if floyd fights margarito now his ducking 12 years ago isn't ducking? what low standards you have. also people putting pressure on fighters is what makes fights happen. if they didnt do that they would fight bums and you would eat it up because you dont care

He beat Cotto in November of 2015. The ggg fight was signed in late April early May of 2017 so technically 1.5 years. I believe this was the timeline Oscar had always given. Regardless of the months it really wasn't that long. It takes time for PPv matches to marinate.
And ask yourself this, will the fight in September 2017 be bigger than it would have been in 2016?
