Despite the ongoing legal issues, Artur Beterbiev has signed a contract to face Germany's Enrico Koelling in an IBF final eliminator, with July 29 in Quebec City as the working date and location. to everyone whining, beterbiev cant force these guys into the ring. who do you want him to fight? kovalev and ward are busy, stevenson and fonfara are busy, barrera got scared and turned down the fight. hes mandatory for the kovalev ward winner so he'll get his chance soon enough.

when kovalev wasnt busy what did beterbiev do? turned don the fight and fought in an eliminator...in order to fight kovalev. this guy is a waste. at least so far. ill give him 5 more years and then he has to fight someone good. thats the ward rule

the money they offered barrera was trash. beterbiev isnt a draw and was taking like 80 percent of the purse. if you want a good fight you have to pay for it. ggg used to give guys like macklin and geale 40 percent to get them in the ring. this is a common tactic in boxing. offer little to no money and then go down the line until someone is desperate enough to take it. that desperate guy is usually crap like koelling.
