I don't know why you would want this fight. It was one of the hardest fights to watch in my life. You remember those old Three Stooges episodes when Curly would have to fight the big tough guy? He was scared ****less and Moe would keep telling him you got him right where he wanted him, but Curly would still be getting his ass kicked. Thats the blow by blow of Marquez-Gainer. Derrick Gainer seemed intent on destroying the myth that he was still a contender.

This was one of the worst fights ever. RJJ so calleed protege making a fool of himself by circling around the ring throwing one punch at a time to Marquez's glove. What a joke. What a waste of time and it's not like Marquez made any sort of attempt to make it a fight. Wut a joke by both fighters , go fight Robbie Peden again you bum.

Derrick Gainer doesn't really get ****ed up, Marquez was simply the only one trying to fight. Marquez doesn't look good as an aggressor and wasn't able to put the punches on Gainer. Gainer was just throwing the jab at Marquez's gloves. It was a very ugly fight, and if ever we needed a fight ended by a headbutt, it was this fight.

Johnson-Marquez II was one of the saddest moments in boxing for me. Johnson was a great fighter who had really slipped since coming out of jail. When he got knocked down for the first time in his career, the announcers immediately started talking retirement and about how great his career was. It was so sad to see a great fighter, and I mean a truly great fighter. He should've retired after Montiel.
