ward did get outboxed. yeah he gets props for fighting his way back into the fight and making it close but how many of them rounds did he "not" reduce himself to using illegal tactics? (because he was getting outboxed)

100% Agree. After the 2nd rpund, Ward went full octopus mode. It was a complete disgrace. His style was a cross between ZAHIR RAHEEM AND JOHN RUIZ....

Kov lost fair and square, and if he was the "better boxer" why did he have trouble landing the same shots he landed in some of the first 6 rounds and hardly won any after that time?

Can't see Kovalev winning. He's going to be better sure, but so will Ward and probably to a better degree. Ward's a smarter fighter than Kovalev, he's going to adapt from the previous fight better than Kovalev, imo

The only one I saw initiating clinches was 'the Klincher', Krusher hadn't an answer for the inside work and clearly hadn't the stomach for a tough fight.
