Who does he have to beat ? for instance if Ward beats Kovalev clearly he is for a top P4P fighter , i dont like him but im fair , if Spence beats Brook he is the top WW with Thurman ( i actually like Spence ) , and so on.
Some of the haters are just bashing him his team his fans but give 0 reasons why he cant be ATG , for them he will never be which seems weird to me thats all , of course if he moved up and cleaned another division out he will be ATG but not many are able to do it in the heavier weight divisions (far easier for the smaller guys) thats why Ward get tons of credit if he can take out Kovalev again.
