Only thing is that without Floyd , Davis will be the same situation as Demetrius Andrade
Gervonta Davis has all the ingredients to become a big star...

How can u be a big star if you don't fight anyone. Floyd's no.miracle worker, if tank won't take tough fights he isn't gonna be an attraction.Comment

It’s not Floyd’s fault. He’s one of the biggest boxers ever. When he’s there with his fighter reporters want to ask Floyd questions.Comment

I strongly disagree about his star potential. When you look at somebody, they either have it or they don’t. Davis doesn’t have it..
He is a short stubby mother***er who can’t even talk right. He has zero charisma.
Stubby is too dumb and tiny to be a star.Comment

How can you be a star when you can barely speak your own language? He'd be better off trying to become a heel like Floyd did and make as much as he can. The Charlos and Spence have the superstar potential and the Charlos could also play the heel role pretty well.Comment

He is still a kid and already has a respectable resume. In time he'll get more comfortable in front of the camera.Comment

Precisely this. His personality is painful to endure. There are little kids out there that can probably hold a conversational flow better than he can.
Can he as talented as you want but character is a huge part of the package weather you like it or not/disagree or not.
Kind of reminds me of Joe Joyce in that respect. Might be performing somewhat the way he’s meant too, but if the out of ring-on screen persona is like talking to a brick then it’s gonna be hard to catch fire in terms of the whole sales pitch, and Davis is just that way to me.
Personality/character/charisma (call it what you will) and IQ are seriously lacking for him. There’s no wonder there’s trouble around him and Floyd.
Edit/Side note:
To compare him to Floyd in that respect, there where times that Floyd seemed slightly dim/****** and yes some of his performances may have left tons of fans wanting, but love him it hate him, he had character and a certain panache and still has. Davis is leagues away in comparison.Last edited by SthPaw; 05-20-2018, 10:25 AM.Comment
