I agree with you that it should be tremendous. I think Benavidez is for real and this will be the beginning of him proving it.
Yea its on Fox Sports 1.

And I honestly think this is such a step up for David that he could lose this fight & still be for real just further on down the line.

Yeah dude same here! It was a $h1tty near 2 week drought since the extremely underwhelming Canelo/Chavez fight...

Agreed. I think Davis is going to mature well, I don't see him being anything like Broner. Davis came from fosters homes/nothing, I see him being more humble and just overall aiming to achieve greatness. Maybe he will become a bit arrogant when greater fame and pay hits, but I don't see him being an overall douche like Broner. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've never heard Broner say anything about wanting to help kids have a better life and not stick to the streets the way Davis does.

I've seen him fight before & he for sure seems like a competent & skilled cat who's gonna beat most guys out there, but idk that he seems like a top ten caliber guy to me. Tank seems like a top ten caliber guy who can compete for the #1 spot potentially at some future date.
I like his movement, he's quick, he can fight orthodox as well as southpaw and he has experience on his side. He also has a pretty good KO ratio of 14/21, of course he hasn't fought anyone in the same league as Davis. He'll also be fighting in front of a rowdy British crowd. Floyd and Gervonta seem to be underestimating/dismissing him and this could also work in Liams favour.

I still think Gervonta will win. I think it will be a competitive fight though.

He can move but I didn't see anything special in his quickness. I wouldn't say he's better than Pedraza. If Davis can't beat Walsh we were all terribly wrong about him.
