    Here we go again......

Like I said the popularity of boxing is dying because of the bull**** judging that goes on. Two recent atrocities.

    1) Ricky Hatton gets gift decision
    2) Marco Antonio Barrera gets a decision after fight is ruled a draw in the ring, the judges go back and award the fight to Barrera in the locker room.

Ricky Hatton won a close fight, get over it. I haven't seen ONE SINGLE SCORECARD of someone who thought Collazo won. Not one damn card. Get the **** over it. Even if you thought Collazo won, how can you call it a robbery? A robbery would be having Collazo win by more than a point.

You should be watching the UFC then. They rarely go to the judges
but when they do it's usually 85% accurate.

I don't know what the big whoop was, Hatton clearly won that fight, even thought you can argue that all close rounds had to be given to Collazo because he is the champ.

        I had Barrera winning 7-5.

regardless of what you think or what the judges say, Hatton won that fight because he was the aggressor, he showed he wanted to win. And Barerra didnt get a gift decision I dont know what the hell fight you were watching but he definately won that fight, he may not have been the agressor but he schooled Juarez with his actually boxing, now when they got in close it was Rocky with the advantage but Barerra fought smart and won no doubt about it.

yeah, i have learned to live with bull**** decisions. how anybody could've had hatton clearly winning is beyond me. a close fight definitely, so i couldn't call it a robbery. but aggression is nothing if it's not effective. who looked worse? who took bigger shots?

now the barerra fight, i was content with that being a draw. i really think nobody deserved to win. could anybody tell me how that miscalculation happened exactly? i remember hearing something about the first round score being crossed out and another one in its place. something like that.

overall, bad judges ****in' suck. how many times do we have 75 year old bastards who can't even see the damn ring right in front of them? another thing is that referreing(sp?) is not neccessarily standardized. they have training where you judge taped fights and have them compared to the "master" scores, but in an actual fight they often give very different reasons for scoring one way or the other.

remember that jmm/pacquiao fight? absolutely the most pathetic excuse for ****ing up the judging - "i didn't think i could score a 10-6 round." WTF!!!!

Hattons agression was clearly effective, seein as he landed 35% of his shots, compared to COllazo's 30%.

It would of been bull**** if they would of left Barrera's fight a draw. He clearly won
