How was Eric Molina able to take so many shots off Deontay?

    Before the finish?

I saw at one point wilder grabbed molinas head with his left hand and then smashed him square in the face 8 times with the death star superlaser right but molina was ok

Deontay has insane power and can stop anyone with one punch but molina took about 500 punches off him before finally being finished, it didn't take just 1.

    Is molina underrated tough guy?

Wilder could have softened him up but Molina came in highly motivated with widler and as teh fight went on he just grew in confidence where as with AJ it was the complete opposite his confidence almost immediately disappeared.

All I remember from that fight is being pissed that molina came in just for his check.

wilders power is overrated. he took a ton of punches to put out that french guy, arreola and molina, washington was an early stoppage, barely hurt stirverne, only guy he knocked out nicely was spilzka who has a very poor chin and was nearly ko'd twice by mike mollo

And also Duhaupas, he took hellacious punches and shots for 11 rounds.

Duhaupas also had Wilder's face busted up, swollen eye

First time I ever saw Wilders face busted up like that.

Could it be that Wilder isn't as powerful as AJ, no that would be too simple an explanation....
