He doesn't want Fury to be active and go through camps and tune ups. Hearn knows full well the only real time to make this fight is around this time next year, not earlier and not later, so he wants Fury out of action until a few months before.

Hearn saw the video's of The Furious One training and got scared. He saw an obese Fury still floating around the ring with better speed, technique and movement than his big body builder cash cow, so imagine what an in shape active Fury would look like compared to Joshua.

Hearn isn't ******, he's been around the game all his life. He knows AJ cannot beat the big slick gypsy on a level playing field and is doing everything he can to hinder Fury.

Hearn knows if AJ loses to Fury, he's completely finished in the eyes of the British public.
I doubt with everything I have that Hearn wants to prevent AJ from fighting Fury.

Hearn wants to protect his cash cow. Fury is the only fighter who can beat Joshua. Old man Ortiz or that bum Wilder don't have a chance.

He doesn't want to prevent it. He wants to hinder Fury before the fight.

He knows a sharp Fury is a huge risk to his cash cow.

There's absolutely no evidence whatsoever that Hearn wouldn't want AJ to fight Fury.

In fact, to suggest so is kinda dumb.
