You know what you all are ? Enablers.

John Ruiz is a piece of ****, who has done the worst thing a fighter can do, & that is - Sucking up air time , while being the reason everyone of your more-than-you-deserve major fights is boxing at its worst.
    He deserves nothing. I think it's pathetic that he's a multi-millionaire.

Ruiz deserves what he has gotten, and has proven it. Even if he got in that position in the 1st place thanks to Don King, he's not the first to do so.

Ruiz' style is ugly and I root against him every time (except vs Valuev). But he has proven in the ring his championship caliber, if only because today's crop is average at best.

He is no longer promoted by don king so the king factor does not come into play here. The WBA seems to like Ruiz though.

i dont care for his fighting but the man wins fights.. well unless he is fighting a middleweight...he's not in any way shape or form pretty about it but a man should always get a rematch for a fight like they had . If he wins, i dont care what politics are involved JT should get a rematch..if he is beat then i cant see anyway for him to get back up

I have not seen it yet but I have heard people say that Ruiz should have won that fight with Valuev so I guess it is not as bad as it looks or seems.

He must have eliminated the middle man and got into bed directly with WBA

so where does this leave the ibf's purse bid of ibragimov-ruiz???
Looks like ruiz is gonna wait for the winner of beck-valuev, so does this mean they gona have peter-ibragimov fight for klitschkos mandatory or what???

The whole "Ruiz is boring so he doesn't deserve a shot/recognition" routine gets old. Ruiz has beat better opposition than any of the current heavyweights competing so of course he deserves the rematch. Most people thought he won the first time he fought Valuev anyway so what's the big deal?
