    Diego de la hoya

What do you guys think about the prospect boxer "Diego de la hoya"? Do you think his last name will actually influence his boxing career?

Why do I get the feeling this is some spam account who registered on here to push his boxing products. No matter, guys like this get banned the minute they advertise their website.

Diego seems legit to me. People see the name and think he's just another sibling living off a name. But he was a stand out amateur. A legit blue chip prospect who has blown out the same guys that other prospects have struggled with. Thats why hes moving so fast forget winning fights he is barely losing any rounds. He's now top 10 ranked by 3 of the 4 orgs and golden boy talking about if he wins on Thurs his next fight will be against a top contender with a goal to get him a title shot late this year early next year. So they moving him very aggressively.

He don't have power like Oscar but he has elite hand speed. He's going to school and out work a lot of fighters but he has totally different style from his cousin.

I like him and hope he does well. When is his next fight?

He's pretty good, I like his active style. He's quick, in and out, throws in combination, usually gives a comprehensive performance, he's not just blasting fools out of there and not getting ring time. I will say that most of the fights I've seen him in are against similar styles-- not a lot of cutie pie boxers on his resume or others with comparable athleticism to his (although I have missed his last two fights so maybe he has now). He fought some younger dudes with similar records but same style. Would like to see him fight a boxer type soon
